Suspicious Person reported through the CWT Suspicious Activity Reporting line. Incident date: 2026-09-05 around 09:30. Reported location: Various locations on campus, Newcastle, Washington. A safety team director reported that an adult male arrived on campus at approximately 08:30, before the director was on site. By other congregants' accounts, the male entered the fellowship hall while a group was praying, moved through the rooms of the building, and recorded video of the interior and exterior. He entered the sanctuary when it was opened at approximately 09:00 for worship team practice and recorded there as well. The director later observed him in conversation with an elderly congregant outside the sanctuary, asked him to change the subject of that conversation, and the male complied and then left the property on foot. The male was described as a Black male in his late twenties, approximately six feet five inches tall, wearing an ankle length thobe, traveling on foot with no vehicle observed. He was not asked to leave and no trespass advisement was issued. The reporting organization records no similar prior activity at this location. Law enforcement was contacted and the Newcastle, Washington police department accepted an online report. Reporter assessed confidence as high and observed part of the activity first-hand. The recording activity was relayed by other congregants. Reader-submitted report. Details reflect the observer's account and have not been independently verified. No criminal conduct is alleged. Possible Surveillance reported through the CWT Suspicious Activity Reporting line. Incident date: 2026-08-30. Reported location: Interior of a church complex, Bixby, Oklahoma. A safety team member observed an adult male enter the building after the second service and move through the public access areas of the complex. The male spent several minutes in view of both sanctuaries and walked the entry and exit points of each, then moved to the corridor outside a preschool area occupied at the time by approximately 200 children. When security approached, he was standing at a posted emergency fire exit map for that area and moved away from the corridor before being contacted and spoken with. He stated he had attended weekday young adult events at the church over the summer and was considering Sunday attendance, declined an invitation to attend the service, and left the campus on foot. No vehicle was associated with him. The male was described as a young adult, tall and thin, with dark medium length hair. The reporting church documented a separate incident in June 2025 in which a man was contacted in its children's wing after entering through a door held open by a departing volunteer, gave inconsistent identifying information during a field interview, and left the campus. A state fusion center was notified at that time. Law enforcement was not contacted. Reporter assessed confidence as low and observed the activity first-hand. Reader-submitted report. Details reflect the observer's account and have not been independently verified. No criminal conduct is alleged.
